Affordable, easy to use & and great product
I bought this for my new house about 2 weeks ago with little experience on how to use it or put it together but it took me about 2 minutes to set up and was so easy to use and really strong cut through my grass like nothing

Still too heavy with battery installed
Overall pleased with product. Have not had to change string yet but hope its as easy as they say it is in the instructions. Overall weight when battery installed still needs improvement.

Poor customer support
Deflector shield broke first time it was used. Unable to contact customer service after multiple attempts. Finally exchanged it at Home Depot.

User friendly
I started buying Ryobi products four years ago when I found myself in need of easy and dependable tools and machines. Since then I have purchased hedge trimmers pole chainsaw, weed whacked all battery powered and strong. That have been simple to put together even for a non professional. And there power has always been phenomenal! I want to give a big thank you and shout out to the engineers who designed and and the manufacturers who built this top of the line product.

I’m loving it
All the power I need to do a 1/2 acre. Some pretty rough stuff too. This is my third Ryobi cordless trimmer and by far my favorite. Got it on sale so a good bargain. It came with a 40v battery and charger so it got me stain the 40v realm.

Works well!
I am happy with this trimmer overall. It is very powerful and efficient. One thing that makes it less than ideal for me is its weight. I'm an older woman who maintains her own large property well. That said, a lighter tool would make it easier to use for longer periods of time.
