I also built this for my friend who owns a local gun shop here in town. I built this with furring strips. I cut out all the stripes, burned each individual piece, nailed it to a piece of 3/4" ply, then cut out the shape/skull, carved the stars, burnt it one more time, and finally added a matte finish. I wish I would have takin production pics for this project, but I got too caught up in my work. I was very happy on the way this piece came out. :)

  • This is incredible! I'd like to build one for my son whose a police officer. Would you be willing to share your pattern? Did you use the band saw to cut the eyes and nostrils? If yes, where did you choose to make the entry cuts - you can't tell from the photos which is amazing! Thanks for sharing.

    • I googled "punisher skull" to find an image, blew it up, and traced it onto some ply. I then glued and nailed the field and stripes to the board, then I traced the pattern over it one more time. I cut the edges with my band saw. As for eyes and nostrils, I drilled a small hole, and then used my scroll saw for the inside cuts. Hope this helped some. :)
