The more I can organize the stuff in my garage the more room I have for workshop space. I have these on each side of my garage door to accommodate rakes, shovels, and other long handled yard tools.
Took <30 minutes to make and hang two of them. Hanging this stuff in-line takes up minimal space and since everything has a long handle you can mount them as high as possible. I rotate them so whatever I need for the current season is towards the front.
I cut the boards that extend out at 10 degrees on my miter saw so they slightly tip upward. Yes, I really do have five snow shovels (I live in Michigan).
