Our kitchen silverware drawer had a plastic organizer that left a lot of wasted space, making it hard to find things, with drawer contents that looked like a mixed up mess.
This was made from a single 6’ x 4” board, we chose Maple to match the existing cabinet interior. By ripping the board into two pieces we are able to reduce the amount of boards needed. The wider portion of each ripped board is used for the outside frame, while the thinner board is used for the inside compartment.
Miter cuts make it really easy to assemble before final gluing.
