My friend was looking for a good scare for his haunted house, so I designed this scare table. The table was built so he could hide inside it, yet people could look through the table to the other side. People sat on both sides of the table. Later during the show, the table cloth got pulled for 3 seconds, giving him enough time to fold the table up, and then jump up through the table cloth. It was a FANTASTIC scare!! :)

  • This is incredible! So, there's actually room in the base for a person to hide? This must have been the most heart-stopping element in the haunted house!

    • Thanks! The bottom was built as if it were raised off of the floor, but it actually wasn't. It gave the illusion as if it were, which made the hidden compartment big enough to squeeze in. His legs are hidden under the base of the table, while the rest of his body is hidden inside of the side legs which is painted black. With the main lights off in the room, this looked as if it were a shadow from the table cloth. As for the scare, it was spot on. I wish I was able to upload a video of some of the people getting scared. :)
