My son loves to dig up dinosaurs but hates the idea of sitting in the sand (he has a sensory processing disorder). So I needed to build a sandbox that had built in seats for his particular bum. :) You can fold down the seats creating a cover to keep the neighborhood cats from doing their business inside.

  • What are the steps to your sand box and how do you keep weeds from growing they the bottom of it?

    • I used a plan by Ana-white. It's on concrete so I don't have to worry about weeds. I'm sure you could use the barrier people put in their garden beds to prevent weeds.
