I decided to make my space more functional by building a table saw/router table combo. There are storage shelves underneath where the saw and router sit. I snapped a canvas bag to the inside to collect sawdust and was also able to keep my cheap, horrible 1 gallon shop vac connected and attached to the router (the hose can be tucked underneath or put away if you are working with bigger stock.

    • Hey!  Quite honestly, I literally looked at the wood I had laying around and kind of "shlept" it together.  However, I do know the order in which I did things, the materials I used and can gladly put a cut list/plan together for you.  Let me know!

  • I would appreciate that very much. I really want to build this. Your "schlepping" turned out to be a pretty awesome looking shop addition. I've been wanting to upgrade my table saw to a portable job-site version, and I'm looking for a permanent home with a generous work surface for it. The addition of the router table only added to my interest in building this. So yes, I really would appreciate it if you did that. I don't trust my own schlepping abilities 😊

  • Thank you very much for going through the trouble. It is appreciated. You'll have to bear with me -- I'm kinda clueless about navigating and using social media platforms.
