I designed and built this table using reclaimed wood from an old barn on our ranch. It was a little intimidating looking at the pile of rough, old lumber I had to work with- but the end result made the extra work worth it! My Ryobi Recip Saw made removing the old wood a lot easier :) I planed down and trimmed up the old wood to get it to join up nicely, but tried not to over-sand the top to keep the weathered look. The nice guys at Home Depot cut and threaded the pipe for me. I love the combo of wood and pipe! It was such a joy seeing my vision come together on this table and giving new life to this old wood!
