Built this Walnut piece for our kitchen out of two 8 quarter slabs and 1/4 walnut plywood for panels. I borrowed the design from several pieces online. Somewhat of a shaker simple design. The color was beautiful but it didn’t match the rest of the furniture around it so I had to stain it, which I hated doing. This was my first time building drawers and it took some adjustments. I have been replacing most of my power tools with the Ryobi one tools as I love not having cords. I moved into a garage shop and there is only one plug on the same circuit. I have a display wall of all my Ryobi tools with my hand planes. It’s a combination on new technology with old.
