This took over a year to fix working on weekends and at night. we moved fence on top of block wall for a clean look. the fence posts are metal 10' long postmaster, cedar fence is 6 ft tall, so post in concrete 4.5ft below ground. My wife and I did all the design, labor 400+ hrs of DIY work, dirt with rocks moved 1 wheelbarrow at a time. hired Pro concrete finishers, we consulted with a structural Eng for wind vs. fence post vs. wall load JIC . the concrete is colored gray and the opposite brush directions is an illusion of dark / lite color= its all the same color. pro contractors did not bid the job due to had to be built by hand no equipment access. our neighbor is a retired contractor with big pro equipment, compacting thumper thing, floodlights, we did fence posts at night in late fall. he'd stop by on the weekend to see how it was going and enjoy some Oreo cookies. our neighbor let us trash his yard for 6 months for access, he has new grass and likes his new back of the fence view. the hardest part of this build was fence on top of wall, what was the height going to be?=post master post made this easy.
