We found this old beat up park bench stuffed in the tree line behind the house that was left from the previous owners. My son and I cleaned up some scrap wood and got it looking new again.

  • The material list cannot be complete, is it??

what do you call a 1x2x4 pine boards  How many and what length?

I am seeing so many great projects that I need to do but most fall short on actual directions or outlines.  Your project ( foto wise) does a good job but what are the lengths you used, because those boards must be limited because of weight-bearing

    • The boards were 1” thick by 4” wide and 4’ long. They were just barely able to fit into the board grooves.  They can withstand a good amount of weight compared to the old rotten boards.
