In keeping with my theme I tried to use as many reclaimed materials as possible, I used a redwood top with two coats of spar urethane and the used old cedar fencing trim on the edge of the top. I used the same fencing to cover the pine legs and as a backing. the two wine crates are drawers and the knobs are from a burned down post office from the 20 to 30's. My neighbors Grandfather had them and she gave them to me to use. the lights are suspended by EMT conduit and the hotplate is an induction top for cooking out doors. the metal trash bin is great for ice and drinks and can be carried around our yard wherever the party goes. On the back of this bench is a license plate from Michigan dated 1920, it was the first time my dad took me junking, I was 10, I am 33 now, TY Dad and Happy Fathers Day.
