We wanted to extend our patio to give us plenty of room for a hot tub, patio furniture and grill. The goal was to make it feel very open and not cluttered. We elected to purchase a hardwired hot tub which required trenching, underground conduit, and wiring. After the patio was poured, we used an exterior concrete paint with an anti-slip additive.
