I made a few of these in our previous house on both sides of the garage door using wasted space at the ceiling to provide extra storage space. In our current house, I wasn’t able to use these on the side of the garage door but it worked perfectly alongside the existing beam.
It is 14’L x 20”H x 12”D and provides lots of storage especially for things we don’t use frequently. Since the bottom is seven and a half feet from the floor it doesn’t impact access within the garage.
