For my birthday all I wanted to do was build ALL DAY. So while my husband watched the kids, I built this beauty using 2x4's. It was an easy build and has become the favorite hangout spot at our house. The lumber and materials to build this project was really inexpensive. The cushions is what cost the most. I got them from the store at home when they were buy one get one 50% off.

  • Yes! I used plans from Ana-White for the outdoor couch. The plans and how to video are actually on Ryobi's website. You can also find them at Ana-white.com. I built the outdoor couch and the one arm sectional piece. I originally planned to only make those two pieces but ended up making an extra seat to maximize the space after I realized it was cutting off my patio too much. You can see the extra piece between the two couches. I would recommend sanding and staining before you build. It was kind a pain to sand and stain every nook and cranny after it was built.
