After checking out the local outdoor furniture shops I was amazed at how expensive the couches were. It seemed like something that wasn't that complex and after I found a general design I liked, I decided to go for it. I first bought some cushions because they vary in size, then purchased inexpensive treated 2x3 for most of the wood and using my couch measurements and the cushions just kind of made up the design as i went. I finished the project with a layer of whitewash over grey stain and am pretty happy with the results.
