We have a tiny entryway with 3 doors and nowhere to put shoes on. The other issues was that no one hung their coats up on hangers and we fought over the hooks on the back of the closet door. We opted to build a bench and add hooks to the space for more function. We removed the door so that it wasn't in the way. We now have somewhere to sit and put shoes on plus we have plenty of hanging space.
