1988 speed boat. Restoration from the Inner floors to the outer paint.
A yr and half ago we received this free boat. New engine but the interior was shot. Rotted floors seats and lots of weather damage.
We tore out the existing floor dried for weeks and then started in. Cutting new supports and floor boards were just the beginning. Fiberglassing and resin was applied to all new boards. New seating hardware was set in and secured.
The interior of the boat was revamped to have a full sun platform easy motor access and plush captains seats.
We engineered all of this over months of time.
Custom upholstery had to be created. No pre pattern to copy.
Once we got the interior cut sanded and installed we couldn’t stop there. We moved on to exterior paint job. Transforming this boat into a new modern look and convenience.
We are getting close. The front bow has 3 panels to cover. And a remake to the back seating is in the future. Some times the plan just doesn't come out and a redo is in order.
We have many videos along the way just fir the fun of seeing it all come together. Many times we cover the long days of work we did and its just forgotten. Like the bottom boat supports
Would love to share this project with others.
