When we built this house, we used subway tile and had a full length bench in the shower. After a while, we realized that the bench took up a lot of space and the full length was never utilized. Also, cleaning the shower took a long time due to all of the grout joints. We decided to renovate the shower and use large wall tile, install 2 niche shelves with mosaic tile, install a corner bench, use mosaic floor tile, epoxy grout, and a single barn door style shower door.
