My wife has designed our bathroom in a beach cabana motif. She mentioned that all it needed to be complete was a lifeguard chair. I picked up on her hint and decided to build one for Christmas. All reclaimed lumber was used which helps give it a naturally used and weathered look. I designed it around the clothes hamper with the height just short of the ceiling. Decorated with the life ring from our sailboat and a "No Lifeguard on Duty" sign, our restroom and Christmas present is complete.
