Last year on Spring Break we decided to build a "Jesus" table (so named after the Last Supper) for our friends. He had almost no tools. So we had to improvise. We went shopping at the closest HD for supplies and a couple tools. We bought a bunch of dimensional lumber, painting supplies. After a day and a half we were ready to paint. It was a world wind project in my books. I typically could have drug it out for weeks. We didn't have that much time. In fact it all came about from bad weather one day. Nothing like the weather Fort Myers Beach just went through. After coming back, Paula has wife asked about a hutch for the dishes and such. The old china cabinet flat didn't match, you can see it in the background of the table picture. She picked up some baskets and I designed it from them. My only stipulation was, I was making it in my shop. I finished up last week and with hurricane Irma, my friends are heading down to access the damages. Great timing to take down the hutch. These people are amazing. They open their place right off the beach to us whenever we can go. Their parents were old old neighbors and great friends before passing away. I would do anything to help these folks.
