This is a child's workbench made from scrap 2x4's that have been dimensioned on a table saw to 1.25 inch by 1.25 inch. The top is glued together, then after drying, was run through a planner, trimmed with a circular saw, filled and edge routed. The base frame was cut from longer pieces on a band saw. The top is finished in clear poly and the frame is black. Once the child's Home Depot power tools where added the boys had some fun pretending to be like dad - of course dad's tools are green not orange (they pointed that out).
