I used a 6ft cedar 4x4 and 12 ft cedar 2x4 purchased @ Lowes. I purchased 4 coat hooks at a local hardware store. Cost about $45 total. I used a chop saw, nail gun, and router for the top plate, and Kreg Pocket hole jig.I made this from a Shanty to Chic project
