My 88 year old grandmother moved to a new apartment and invested in a new bed. She needed a headboard to fit this new bed and complete her room. I started woodworking this past year and decided to surprise her for Christmas. Over the 4day weekend at Thanksgiving I worked to complete not only a headboard but a side table for her. My husband and I wrapped the headboard in bubble wrap and drove it 5 1/2 hours north to surprise her. She loved it an is still sending us thank you text.
