My wife and I had been discussing purchasing a new dining room table. Old table was about 4 1/2 foot. We are often hosting neighbors, friends and family for dinner and needed something bigger. Took up wood working a year ago and completed several easier projects and decided to try something a little more difficult. Farmhouse table is 8ft long and 3.5ft wide. Started project in Sept ‘17 and worked most weekends to completion on Dec ‘17. Family and friends were able to enjoy it for Christmas dinner.
