Entryway Table

When we purchased our new house a couple of months ago, it not only doubled our square footage, but had features that we didn't have at the old house. For example, the new house has a very nice entryway...so that meant I needed a fun little entryway table, but nothing too fancy.

I finished it off with a faux rustic metal look on the legs by spray painting them with a Nickel Metallic spray by RustOleum, and then dry-brushing a dark stain (I used Ebony by MinWax) over the dried spray paint, then gently wiping it with a dry cloth. The top is stained a light stain (MinWax Early American I believe) and then dry-brushing the edges of the planks with MinWax Dark Walnut. Topped it off with RustOleum's triple thick polyeurathane and DONE!

  • Wow! Thanks for the close up shot on that amazing finishing job! The build is lovely, and you completely nailed the finish! The top looks absolutely luminous. Did you create your own plan for this build?

    • Thank you!!! I actually used some plans from Bower Power's x-bottom farmhouse table, but I didn't want the 'X' so I modified it :)
