Decided to try my hand custom cutting board making. I acquired some rough stock from a local supplier and a few exotic woods from online. Cut them to length, planed them, jointed them, routed them, sanded them, oiled them into shape. I was quite please with the outcome so I decided to make an end grain board of cherry and walnut....even more please....got some exotic designs in the works.

  • Looks great man! Is that yellow heart I see in there? Give an end grain cutting board a go, they are super durable! I use CBdesigner (just google it) and it helps with the planing and layouts for end grain design. Its crazy the designs some people can do with end grain boards.
