I bought 3 chairs for $6 at a yard sale. I then took them and made them into a foyer bench. I added armrests and a shelf underneath for shoes/wicker baskets. I used black chalk paint, scuffed it up, and cleared with a matte finish for an aged look. Overall I am really pleased with this piece. Paid $6 for chairs, took me only 7hrs from start to finish. Sold it within one hour of posting, for $150.... not bad at all. :)
