I'm a huge fan of Records and because I have so many I needed a place to put them so sticking with my theme of using reclaimed material I've built myself a media console using corrugated metal old two-by-fours and parts from an old deck. I enjoyed this project because I was able to use paint that I got from Sherwin-Williams and they were just going to get rid of it and it didnt cost me anything other than the screws and my time, my dad was able to come out to the shop which was the first time in months so it was a good bonding experience my son even came out and helped so three generations of my family worked on this project and I'm very pleased with the result using materials like a coffee sack made out of burlap and corrugated metal to cover up screw holes and hold pieces of wood together, and using two-by-fours and a hammer to age and antique the wood myself it was a fun project it taught me to slow down and take my time.
