  • Love this! Can I ask how you made them? I’d love to make some things like this

    • For the head I cut 3 pieces of wood all the same size (whatever the size you want the head to be), the middle piece was cut in half so I could create the mortise for the Handel to go through. When I laminated the 4 pieces together I put the center pieces at a slight angle so when driving a wedge into the Handel it expands and holds the head on.

  • I like the idea of using the Ridge Vent as your corner pieces.  Keeps the Stainless Steel looking seamless.  How is the strength of the top of it?  I sometimes sit on the edge as I am working in the garden.

  • Beautiful.  The tiles are a nice touch.   Arts and crafts style is one of my favorites.  I love the Morris chairs too.
