Love this! Can I ask how you made them? I’d love to make some things like this

For the head I cut 3 pieces of wood all the same size (whatever the size you want the head to be), the middle piece was cut in half so I could create the mortise for the Handel to go through. When I laminated the 4 pieces together I put the center pieces at a slight angle so when driving a wedge into the Handel it expands and holds the head on.

Did you make or buy the ironing board cabinet? Nice job looks great.

Thank you!
The ironing board was originally just the built in box cabinet (size of the door). It was too deep for this project, so I sliced it down from 6" deep to 4" deep, and instead of inserting the box cabinet into the wall, I mounted it onto the outside of the wall and framed it out with shelving, and trimmed the baseboards around it. I'm happy I did it onto the outside of the wall, rather than a small built-in.

I’m having a home built and this idea comes at the perfect time. I have lots of pieces of roof joists that I was not going to save, but now I am going to go gather them all up. Thank you for posting this.

This is a really good design. I’ve been wanting to make a drill holder but this design really opens up the possibilities for other tools. Thanks for sharing!
