  • This is a great idea! I'm always worried that I might set something on a burner that's not cool since we don't have a lot of counter space. This seems like the perfect solution! Nice work!

    • This is on a gas range top, so its either obviously on or obviously off. I would be hesitant to put it on an electric since it's wood because it might be on. We needed something, because you're looking at about 50% of our counter top real estate now. She wants a portable island next.

  • You do some amazing work.  That concrete work on the sink really looks professional.  Tell me I'm not the only one that would take weeks to do a project like this.  Ok, I would probably be months.  Great job!

    • It certainly took some time ha. I tend to plan these projects a month out from an event like a birthday so I have to get it done before we have company over. Really puts your nose to the grindstone.

    • I had a hard time finding reliable info on the process. Google search 'GFRC from scratch' and that general mix from fishstone is what I used. This was my first go and I would do some things differently but its a learning process.
