For our latest rehab we were going for a beach vibe. We stained all the shiplap dark walnut and dry brushed painted 3/4 of them with 3 other colors. For the vanity I had been given a cool slab of a knotty, hole filled something (we think cedar). For the bottom shelf I got some dimensional pecky cypruss, cut and glued it up then finished it the same way as the top. The shelf looks so cool that we couldn't cover any of it up so we got a glass bowl sink to put on top.
