I needed a more functional and attractive way to store my increasing record collection. So I searched Etsy for ideas but really mainly ended up only using the hairpin legs that many of those stands were made with. I wasn't sure at that point what kind of wood or exactly how I was going to do this project. Then a few weeks ago Steve Ramsey on YouTube, built a Record Player /Album Stand using a hardwood veneered plywood. So his three videos on his build were very useful in my project . Ironically he too used hairpin legs on his build. Since I don't have dado set for my Ryobi table saw and I just didn't want to risk messing up the rather expensive plywood by using my Ryobi hand router to do hand dado cuts, I went with the next best option. Pocket hole jig. Also my first time doing this. It worked like a charm. I'm very pleased with my first real piece of furniture that belongs in the house. Dimensions 44"L x 13"Width x 15.5" Height. 15" hairpin legs. Also the plywood was 3/4".
