After switching to Ryobi One + battery tools, some corded power tools were left to collect dust on the shelf. I was inspired by some DIY videos on YouTube with 3-in-1 and 4-in-1 workstations - so I've created a 6-in-1 multi-workstation! Here I have an integrated planer, mini-circular saw, jigsaw, router, miter saw, and a disc sander. Central power control and power outlets are also included. I have used mostly 18mm MDF boards, and 36x68mm barges. Everything is made / processed using my collection of Ryobi battery tools, power tools and hand tools. Can this be called good reuse of old corded tools?

    • Thanks a lot :) Each tool hangs to a 3d printed plastic tool-holder. All Self-made. I see a lot of these holders for sale in various Ryobi user groups on Facebook.

  • I think this is fantastic.  I have been struggling to keep power tools together after my husband died (we were big on power tools).  It seems every time someone comes here a tool goes missing.  This would keep everything together and no one could borrow a single tool because it would be in the case.  Any ideas on how to add a planer to this set up, and build something to turn my drill into a drill press?  I would also like to add my bench grinder and bench vice, though I think I may have to usr a separate table for that.  Also I would like to add my drill bit sharpener to this, works with my drill.  Tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. It would be nice with everything in one place.
    Also would you please make available the stl files for the 3d printing that I could adapt to my machine sizes?
    Just a note - I am from South Africa, they did not have my country option with sign up.
