    • So cool! What are the dimensions? It looks very intricate, great work!
By RYOBI Nation, on October 1, 2018
      • Thank you very much. It is about 6 inches long so that kind of gives you a idea of scale.

    • Thank you. I've always thought that a bird house should be something that would be your first build with your father or grandfather. This is my first I have ever built and was enjoyable.

    • Those are very fine details! Did you use a scroll saw on this project?
By RYOBI Nation, on October 29, 2018

    • Great solution for clamp storage! Did you repurpose parts of something else or build this from scratch? Thanks for sharing!
By RYOBI Nation, on November 14, 2018

    • The scrap wood is from a set of old TV Trays I took apart a while back and decided to take advantage of both worlds. I lowered the scrap wood pile and the clamps aren't just sitting on the floor in the way. Worked out perfectly...

    • I love this one too, do you build from a kit or make your own designs?
      By B_Holton, on November 30, 2018
      • Totally from scratch, however I study each one a bit on the web but pretty much each piece is trial and error and trust me, more error than trial.

    • Looks incredible! We can see how this project took a lot of skill and detail work. What part of the process did you find the most challenging?
By RYOBI Nation, on November 29, 2018

    • The wheels are pretty much the most challenging as you can see there are several mistakes but I tried turning them on my lathe but that failed miserably. I have a idea to make them come out better..
By Siclestix, on November 29, 2018

    • That's so amazing, well done

By cvfraser, on December 6, 2018

    • Not sure on the tone as of yet but the sustain is pretty awesome. I still have to order some parts. She was a tough but fun build regardless. Thank you.
By Siclestix, on December 6, 2018 (edited)

    • WOW! This is incredible! What part of this process did you find the most difficult?
By RYOBI Nation, on December 7, 2018
      • If this double post's I apologize. Gluing is the most difficult because I can only glue up two sets of 50 each day. 24 hour glue set at least. There are 36 sets in the guitar body. Anything more than 50 sticks I cant run though my planer/jointer.

    • This one looks very advanced. What was the most difficult part of this build? The details are incredible. Great job!
By RYOBI Nation, on December 10, 2018

    • Thank you. The most difficult is probably the exhaust. It never comes out like I want it to. This was one of those projects that I only worked on when I didn't have anything else to build so it was sitting around waiting to be finished for a couple of months.

    • That is so fun! How did you create the checked pattern on top?
By RYOBI Nation, on December 26, 2018

    • I actually learned how to do this when I was in Shop in high school. It is very simple to do but can be difficult to line up the strips of wood. I cut strips about 10 inches long and glued them in a dark light pattern and then cut them in strips again in the opposite direction then shifted them one block every other strip. It saves trying to glue each and every block together in which I believe would be a nightmare....

      By Robzbrz1992, on February 6, 2019
      • Thank you Rob. I have 16 guitars in several different styles and believe it or not the popsicle stick guitar's are my favorite guitars. They sound fantastic and the sustain "the length the note rings out" is by are the best. I am more than happy with them and each one I build seems the quality gets better.
