Wow! What a lucky toddler! It looks awesome, and the storage will be a big help. Did you design the bed yourself or use a plan.

- It was a slightly similar design on pinterest just a picture, but no plans or design. I drew up the plans and built a material list because I needed to be able to disassemble and reassemble when the bed was delivered. I add the headboard from the strap pieces of wood.

It looks great! The additional storage will be great to have. The shem /strip overlays go perfectly with the western theme too. Did you cut those yourself or use small strips?

- The strips for the cabinet doors were rip from a piece of pine and glued to the doors. The Barn door strips were 1/4" x 4" discontinued rough wood from Home Depot. I purchased a bundle of it with no particular project in mind.
