      • I didn’t really keep track but probably 3-4 weeks working on it during the weekends and evenings for a few hours each night after work.  I did all of it myself with the exception of standing up the walls and putting up the trusses where I had a buddy come and help me out for 1 day.

    • Fantastic! How expensive was the total cost of materials? I’d love to build one of these but my skills and knowledge are currently lacking, maybe one day... do you have photos of inside loft area? Excellent work, kudos!

      • Thank you!  I’m guessing the cost was between $3,000 and $3,500.  I have done a little more to it since these photos were taken like adding lattice around the bottom and a bunch of landscaping.  Unfortunately I don’t currently have any photos of the loft as the shed is stocked plump full of stuff as I am getting ready to host a grad party this weekend.  The wall are 8’ high and I think I set the loft at 7’ up with the peak of the roof at approximately 14’6”.  So I can almost stand straight up in the center of the loft.  The loft is to the left once you go through the doors and covers approximately 8’ of the 16’ length.
