    • So cool! We love the ornate designs of the pieces! Over-sized chess sets are very fun! Are you using a particular set for inspiration?

      • Thank you! The pieces are inspired by the architecture of the churches in Moscow. The designs are Jim Kape.

    • I keep coming across these scrolling through projects.  They are awesome!  I'd love to know how you did it, definitely a scroll saw game-changer.  Beautiful work.

      • Thank you! For the chess set I start with 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 block of wood and transfer the pattern using a spray adhesive to keep it on the block. I cut all the inside whole out first then the silhouette. It's a lot of fun

    • Love it! Where do you get your inspiration for your scroll saw projects?
By RYOBI Nation, on March 13, 2019
      • I grew up in and around Chicago and fell in love with the street art I saw there. I used to do a lot of spray paint stencil art there and now applying that love to my love of woodworking.
