    • Thank you, I had a lot of fun making it. The plants actually turned out very well. I started my entire garden in it this year and must have done something right my biggest cabbage was 15lb.

    • Thank you, I have a made a few of them now for my neighbors. This last storm that we had roll through I think i had every neighbor ask for one. I like that they arent as fragile as plastic.

    • Looks like a fun project. I brew my own, too. So this is something I'd really be interested in trying. Not to mention, I do believe we have some used cabinet handles lying around. Nice touch.

    • Sorry for the late reply, I just got done with a big move and had no internet for a while there. I did have fun making these, I like the door handles because it makes it a lot easier to carry around with bottles inside it. I like showing up to brew club meetings carrying my brew in with nice caddies instead of old recycled cardboard ones!

    • The material list cannot be complete, is it??

what do you call a 1x2x4 pine boards  How many and what length?

I am seeing so many great projects that I need to do but most fall short on actual directions or outlines.  Your project ( foto wise) does a good job but what are the lengths you used, because those boards must be limited because of weight-bearing
      By soutrnatl_17150, on June 1, 2020
      • The boards were 1” thick by 4” wide and 4’ long. They were just barely able to fit into the board grooves.  They can withstand a good amount of weight compared to the old rotten boards.

    • First of all thank you for your service....I would love to build one of these for my grandkids.  By chance do you have the basic measurements for this project and instructions.  I realize this is several years old and hopefully you might be able to help me.  Thank you for your time and assistance.  Please send to:  sirgrumpy1@gmail.com

      • I meant to respond to you earlier, this past month has been very hard on the family, we had two losses in the family between Nov-28th and Dec-12.  I will make the measurements and send you some pictures shortly!
        By Jim_spieks, on January 6, 2021
      • Jim I am so sorry for your losses.  Take your time and thank you.  God be with you and your family in this your hour of need

By JFarquhar, on January 19, 2021

    • Hi Jim, I hope this finds you well.  I would still love to have a set of plans for your candy machine (dispenser)...with my grandkids getting older, this would be a great keepsake for them.  Please, if you have a set available, I would love for you to send them on to me at mrmonkers1@yahoo.com.  Thank you for your service and for your time.
