    • Great sign!
      By a_eaton, on June 13, 2013

    • Cool - I noticed you have won the challenges twice, does ryobi send you 500.00 in tools they pick, or do you get to pick? Just Curious :)

    • Congrats , on wins and sharing the wealth with less fortunate. Job well done all the way around.
By Marty Hendren, on March 21, 2013

    • I agree with both you and Marty. The fun is in building, and to donate it for those who are less fortunate is something to be proud of. You got my vote.

By sirlaughalot, on April 24, 2013

    • This is really impressive!!
      By MCN107, on April 24, 2013

    • I love this idea! Wish I would have had something similar to this when I was young!
By kellyc, on April 24, 2013

    • I am impressed and inspiried. Thanks for sharing. Your son will remember this forever. Have that car at his wedding.
By thorpedo, on April 28, 2013

    • I can't wait to build one for my son!
By adwyer, on June 13, 2013

    • Nice work! I want to build this for my daughter or just a larger version for myself. We have the Magnolia St Derby here in Macon GA every year. This car would be perfect! Do you have plans/specs for it?
      By G-baby, on June 21, 2013

    • Digger - I have about $300 in it. Most of the money is in the hardware. All the wood for this car was $30

    • Good job. I have also always wanted to try my hand at concrete counter tops, but the furthest I have gotten is buying a couple of books on the subject. I may try something like this soon. Thanks for posting it up.
By KaHuNaZ, on June 19, 2013

    • If you want something a bit lighter, try making something like this with hypertufa rather than pure concrete.

    • Very nice and it is one of those ever favorite Keep It Simple Stupid projects. I liked it very much
By kadambi, on July 8, 2015

    • Looks like a very easy and quick build. Where did you source the book shelves?
      By krol_123690, on March 5, 2016

    • Thanks everyone. Can't remember where I got the book shelves. They are the pressboard ones they sell everywhere. It's amazing how rigid it is when you get it all screwed together.

    • This is awesome! I love how you created a bunch of storage, but you didn't have to BUILD that part. You just built AROUND it! :) Great job!

By RYOBI Nation, on May 26, 2016

    • It was a popular attraction. It was teachers and the principal for the targets so I'm sure that had something to do with it.

      By 33AndA3rd, on July 15, 2016

    • I hear ya, I've got rid of stuff that I wish I had kept. This was my cousins bike and had been sitting for 20+yrs so it has so nostalgia as well.
By Jeff Projects, on July 15, 2016

    • How cool is this! Love that fire-truck red color. Is that a motor you added?
By RYOBI Nation, on July 15, 2016

    • Thanks! Sure is, It's an 80cc 2-stroke that'll get it going 20-25mph. The color turned out better than I could have imagined. This is probably of of my favorite projects I've done and was very fun to see it come together.
