      • Thank you so much.   This is actually my second guitar.   I've only built the two.  I'm getting pictures together to post my first.  It's been fun and educational.  I've learned a lot about patience building this one. Thank you again for the kind words.

        I feel extremely fortunate and grateful for winning the United We Build contest for August with this guitar. I apologize if I seem impatient,  but I was wondering how/when I would be contacted about the prize. I have never won anything before so I guess my excitement is getting the best of me.  If you could let me know if I need to do anything,  I would appreciate it.

    • Nice attention to detail.  I really like the contrasting woods you used.  One of my first projects years ago I used purple heart as an accent.  Your's looks great!

      • Thankyou!  I was really happy with the way it turned out. I was surprised how nice purple heart was to work with.  I had heard a lot about how the dust can really be irritating,  but i didn't have any issues. I bet your project looked great too. Purple heart really pops.  Thanks again for taking the time.
