    • Why don't you put some heavy duty casters, so it will be easier to move around
By AlexO, on December 5, 2016
      • Hi Alex, I have heavy duty casters on the rear of the table. I left them off the front on purpose so the table doesn't inadvertently move when I'm working. If I need to move it I just lift it slightly and roll it to where I want it.

    • Oops I didn't see the casters I thought you were doing it stationary table

    • Looks like a practical stand. Is the top a 2'x2' piece of 3/4 plywood? I am in the process of buying a drill press and I am looking at stand options, so that I don't take up valuable space on my workbench. It looks like it is the same height as your miter saw stand. Was there a particular reason for that? Also I really like your oversize work table for the drill press. Did you make that also? It doesn't appear (unless I missed that detail) that your drill press is attached to your stand, does it slide any when you tip and roll your stand? Thank you.

    • Try local hardwood lumber stores. Mine will even rip and plane for you. Beautiful work. Obviously you enjoy the finishing, and you're good at it.

      • Thanks. My closest hardwood lumber yards are Rockler and Woodcraft in Orlando, about an hour away.

    • Love your work and design! Any chance you could post an inside the box pic? I’m a very new wood worker and would love to see if I could replicate (with credit) your beautiful work. 🙏🏼 And, if you have a project plan? More ☺️ helpful. ☺️
