    • Wow! I wish I had some of Emma Grace's talent for design and style! I LOVE the bed - that headboard is so fun. Great details all the way around! What's Emma Grace going to design next @BernieD? She's lucky to have a Dad to encourage her creativity!

      • Thank You so much for the kind words!  Emma drew out a template for the House and Headboard and I helped her cut them out.  She love's painting and choosing the colors and shot down several of my suggestions (Based on paint colors we ALREADY had).  Bahahaha.  She was patient and willing to wait a bit until she had the colors she wanted.  Love that Girl.  :)

    Treehouse Fun!

    • Wow! This is an impressive treehouse. What was the most challenging part of this build?

      • The most challenging part was deciding whether or not we put a large branch "through" the treehouse OR build the treehouse around the branch.  I was concerned with waterproofing the branch if the branch went through the treehouse.  Although it would have been really cool to have a branch on the inside, We decided to recess that area of the house a bit to leave the branch on the outside and made it work by building a custom bench seat with storage underneath for outside toys, etc.  You can see the bench and the large Branch to the left of the front window and door.

      • @EJC5  Thank You so much!  The Tabs are Garnier Limbs from Treehouses.com.  They worked GREAT for this project!
