    • This is fantastic! Do you have dimensions for your cuts?

      I have actually thought of doing something like this with a planter. Planter up top and Basketball/Soccer Ball storage below for my boy. We have a planter right now that is metal, but not really meant for this purpose and have made it work..but I'll be for sure taking your plans to modify!!

      • That’s a good idea! Planters on the sides of the bench would be awesome too, put some citronella plants in there or something to repel the mosquitos!  My measurements were based off the deck balusters we had left over that holds the balls.  They are 32” long then added 1/8” for the hardware.  These balusters are becoming one of my favorite things to build with! So handy. 

        Cuts:
        6-2x6 @ 17”
        4-2x4 @ 32 1/8” 
        Top is 71” long and 12” wide. 
        Balusters are spaced 7” apart (end to end).

        Once we had everything together I added a scrap of the 2x6 we cut down to size to the bottom of the legs for a little added structure.  Hope this helps!!
