  1. Project Steps

    1. Step: 1

      Measure, mark, and cut the 1/2-inch and 1/4-inch plywood pieces to size using a bandsaw, circular saw, or table saw. Glue the frame together as shown.

    2. Step: 2

      Measure and draw out the puzzle pieces onto the 1/2-inch plywood. Using a scroll saw, carefully cut each piece out. Take your time and go slow to ensure the most accurate cut.

    3. Step: 3

      Measure and draw out the puzzle piece as shown. Cut it out using the scroll saw.

    4. Step: 4

      Measure and draw out the puzzle piece as shown. Cut it out using the scroll saw.

    5. Step: 5

      Measure and draw out the puzzle piece as shown. Cut it out using the scroll saw.

    6. Step: 6

      Measure and draw out the puzzle piece as shown. Cut it out using the scroll saw.

    7. Step: 7

      Measure and draw out the puzzle piece as shown. Cut it out using the scroll saw.

    8. Step: 8

      Measure and draw out the puzzle piece as shown. Cut it out using the scroll saw.

    9. Step: 9

      Measure and draw out the puzzle piece as shown. Cut it out using the scroll saw. After all of the puzzle pieces are cut, use 220-grit sandpaper to hand-sand off any rough edges. Paint with colorful acrylic paint.
