Spice Rack Riser

Organize that spice cabinet with an organizer that'll tier your items, making it easy to see what you have to cook with. Can be easily customized to fit into any space and store any sized pantry item. Leave materials natural or finish with wood stain or paint of choice.

  1. Project Steps

    1. Step: 1

      The riser will be constructed in tiers and can be modified to as many levels as you need.

    2. Step: 2

      Cut lumber down to desired length. Using 20 inches as seen here will slide easily into a 30” wall kitchen cabinet.

    3. Step: 3

      Apply wood glue to one long edge of 1x2 board.

    4. Step: 4

      Place 1x4 board on top and secure with brad nailer along the edge

    5. Step: 5

      Place 1x4 board on top and secure with brad nailer along the edge

    6. Step: 6

      Measure final height of the riser and cut 2 supports to serve as legs at the back of the assembled tiers.

    7. Step: 7

      Secure legs with brad nailer.

    8. Step: 8

      (optional) stain or paint finished piece as desired.

    9. Step: 9

      Install riser and organize your spices or pantry items.
