  • Note:  Project Plan is great, but has the following errors:
-purchase list states you need 2 qty 2x6x8', but it should be 2 qty 2x6x10' (need four quantity 60" [5'] pieces),
-purchase list states you need 7 qty 2x4x8s, but the cut list is short 2 qty 31 1/2" pieces, so you need 8 quantity 2x4x8,
-the castors are doubled up on the list.  No big deal, but note that you need larger diameter screws/screw heads and or washers for the castors.

  • I've told Tom already! You guys did an awesome job on the Dream Shop! I actually took the idea of having things on wheels and keeping them the same height. Obviously, my room is a lot smaller, but the idea is what made it work! Great job!

  • Where can I find the plans for all these ideas? Thank you
By TroyFowler, on February 11, 2018
    • @TroyFowler you should be able to click the link above that says "view Project PDF" or visit the Dream Workshop website here: https://www.ryobitools.com/nation/dreamworkshop

  • The Miter saw cart in the PDF is listed as being 36" tall, which is the same as the table saw cart and supplemental carts, that way they can be used together. However, it doesn't look like the height of the table saw and height the miter saw were taken into account during these measurements. For the tables to align when working with material. Did I miss that in the steps somewhere? Do I need to shorten the measurements based off of how tall my tools are? I imagine for the miter saw I would need to shorten the height by a few inches and for the table saw closer to a foot-foot and half, this way I could place the material over the carts and it'll still lay flush with the saws. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

  • Please fix the plans!!!  The plans are all wrong for the miter stand and table saw stand. It looks like the plans for the storage cart were simply cut and pasted into the miter and table saw  plans. Really annoying to discover after getting started. Especially since the issue has been around for a couple of years on these plans.  How come you never responded When Jakers pointed it out?   Sloppy.

  • Quick question- how do you deal with the saw dust from underneath the saw?
By jkealey, on February 8, 2018
    • We have various vacuum products that work great in the shop for both sawdust and even larger debris. You can check them out on the RYOBI website here: https://www.ryobitools.com/power-tools/products/list/category/vacuums

  • I'm trying to download the plans for this really cool garage storage but I can access the button. Can you help me please?

    • First click on the square with the project in it.  It opens up and then you scroll down to the pdf to download.  It took me a while to figure this out, too.

  • I absolutely love this lazy Susan idea. I have a small work area, but this will definitely maximize my efficiency. Thank you Mrs. White

  • I really like this layout!  In reviewing the plans, step 6 doesn't make sense to me.  How are you attaching the leg/outside shelf board to the cleats?  a 3" screw will not be large enough to connect the vertical leg and shelf bar to the cleat!  What am I missing?

    Thank you,

  • What height did you use for the bottom shelf?
