LAP DESK

This lap desk is versatile and for all ages! Whether you're in college working from bed, or you're on a road trip with your family, this lap desk works for you. Keep kids busy with this portable lap desk with storage and folding legs.

For the college dorm dweller: College is all about multi-tasking, and we fully support working from bed. Use this DIY Folding Lap Desk to complete assignments, eat ramen or draw up your plans for the weekend, all from the comfort of your Twin XL. Customize your lap desk however you please!

For the family road trip: Long car trips don't have to be boring when you provide kids with an activity space to call their own. Fill up the storage bin with coloring books, paper, markers, and pencils and keep secure with a latch hook then when kids are ready to open the top and they have everything on hand. Use the tabletop storage compartment to keep pens and pencils from rolling away while driving. The legs fold completely flat under the storage bin when not in use for easy transport.

  • Jamie, this is really a great project, I am just about to build it out for my pumpkin. Love that it is multi funtional for both car riding or even at home. Thank you for sharing the plans. Love your work.

  • Thank you Jamie, I did create a lapdesk earlier, but these modifications really help make my munchkin happy. Is it possible to have the cut list detailed, properly since most of the left side seems to have trimmed.
