Have you ever completed a project that made you want to pump your fist in the air? Well, that’s how I feel about this project! I’m new to using SketchUp but wanted to completed plan this project out from start to finish before even touching the wood! Proper planning saved me hours and hours of headache and ruining materials! (Download it free and watch the free tutorial videos). I also had never used a router (newbie!) or a hole saw, but took my skillz to the next level with this project!
September means football, game-watching parties, and entertaining, so I wanted to create something that could hold up to a 6-pack of drinks (Root Beer in this case!) along with an inside compartment for snacks! It took me a while to put it together, but I did it!
I wanted it to look weathered so I layered Early American stain with Weathered Gray for a weathered look. And I love the way it turned out!!
